This Privacy and Data Protection Policy (hereinafter Privacy Policy) is intended to inform the Clients/Users of the website/Partners and Employees of BAUEN DENTAL, the general rules for processing personal data, which are collected and processed in strict respect and compliance with the provisions of the personal data protection legislation in force, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and national law.

A BAUEN DENTAL has as its object the provision of medical services within the scope of Stomatology and Dental Medicine, Prosthodontics, as well as the exercise of all activities related thereto, including research and auxiliary means of diagnosis.

A BAUEN DENTAL respects best practices in the field of security and protection of personal data, having to this end taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to comply with the GDPR, ensuring that the processing of personal data it carries out is lawful, fair, transparent and limited to the purposes authorised, in pursuit of its legitimate interests derived from its corporate purpose.

A BAUEN DENTAL has always been committed to the protection and confidentiality of personal data and has now adopted the measures it considers appropriate to ensure their accuracy, integrity and confidentiality, guaranteeing all the rights of the data subjects.

The increasingly frequent interaction with Users of the website also leads to the collection of personal information on the user/data owner of this platform, in order to take advantage of the services provided, or the collection of data from his/her device (through files known as cookies), to improve the performance of the Platform. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

The person in charge of the treatment is BAUEN DENTAL.

In the context of the provision of medical care, namely the making of dental prostheses, the BAUEN DENTAL will make use of external services but only to entities offering sufficient guarantees for the implementation of adequate technical and organisational measures to protect the confidentiality of the personal data transmitted.

A BAUEN DENTAL processes not only health data, but also all personal data intrinsic to the contractual relationships it establishes with its Clients, derived from the various services provided. This relationship concerns the processing of BAUEN DENTAL for the purposes of administrative management of the services provided, such as (1) billing for health services, (2) contacts with Customers in the context of service provision (for example in replying to appointment bookings, requests for clarification, suggestions and acknowledgements, quality and satisfaction surveys), (3) product and service marketing purposes, segmenting and analysing Customer profiles and sending direct marketing communications, through the different communication channels, both physical and digital - for the purposes of improving our services and meeting our administrative and commercial objectives.

The data collected in the website forms are intended exclusively for processing information and contact requests from Clients/Users, namely data such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address and will not be used for any other processing. This information is not, under any circumstances, provided to third parties and is exclusively used following negotiations/contacts made with you.

As our Customer, we collect and process personal data such as name, date of birth, gender, citizen card number, fiscal number, health system and user or beneficiary number, clinical data necessary for the provision of health care or treatment, address, telephone number, profession.

The data of our customers and users are automatically stored in a secure server located in Portugal and are stored in specific databases created for this purpose. These servers are protected and maintained in accordance with the highest security standards and in order to comply with applicable privacy laws.

 

On what basis do we process your personal data?

The processing of data will always have a legal basis, which may be based on the consent of the data subject, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps to which the data subject is party, the making of a medical diagnosis, compliance with legal obligations to which the BAUEN DENTAL is bound, or the pursuit of its legitimate interests.

A BAUEN DENTAL does not disclose any personal data of its Customers and Users to third parties without their consent, except when required by law.

 

What are the rights of the data subjects?

To this end, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, which shall not, however, invalidate processing carried out up to that date on the basis of consent previously given.
